Last night our European team hit the streets of London to check out some of the world’s most famous street artists. An international hub of graffiti culture, London’s streets are home to work by Banksy, Shepard Fairey, Space Invader – and a host of extremely talented emerging local artists like Dr. D.
Pictured above amongst the artwork from left to right: Neil, Miel, Mark, Kye and Michael. We totally recommend the London Street Art and Graffiti Tour.

…having worked in London for most of my working life I am not sure if it is ignorance or busy-ness but I never noticed what a an amazing hotbed of “real” creatives express themselves through this incredible street art. I have walked passed all of these areas so many times and even though I have looked I have not “seen” it wasn’t until the other night when our guide “Hedley” took us around and made these beautiful and sometimes close to he mark pieces come alive…
What a truly inspirational tour – makes me want to go and create!!
This area is what made me fall in love with London. I spent years living in and around it – the bars, the people, the art (in galleries and on the street), the shops – to me, all reflect the true creativeness and individuality of the city.
My first London job was in Rivington place (EC1) with a huge Banksy piece literally out my window. Back then, my 20min walk to work would pass the huge Banksy ‘Pulp Fiction’ billboard, the maid with a vacuum, rats in parachutes, the list go’s on…
I wish I had have gone on this tour earlier – so much that I have literally walked past or had a pint under and never really looked at. Highlight was the face chiselled out of the plaster board (4th image from bottom) around the corner from Big Chill Bar – amazing.
