I love the detail and thought that goes into some movies. The elaborate back-stories, the time taken to research period-accurate details and get things just right. Someone once said to me “Nearly every detail you see in a movie is there for a reason”, and so it was great to come across this post recently on the type details in Ridley Scott’s Alien.
