Server setup and logging on

Before you even start using the iPad Application for Streamtime you will need to install and setup your Streamtime server with our free Addons. If you have not already setup the Streamtime Addons click here for detailed instructions on how to do so. This will need to be performed by somebody familiar with setting up a FileMaker web server. You will also need to update your copy of Streamtime to version 10v5 or greater - previous versions of Streamtime will not work with this iPad Application. Click here to get the latest version of Streamtime. Once this has been done the iPad application for Streamtime will ask you to fill in server details and you will need your Streamtime user Login and Password. Once you save these and they are validated you will no longer be able to change them from the iPad App - you can however edit these in the iPad's Settings Utility under Streamtime.

Companies

The Companies section loads a full list of all Streamtime Clients and Suppliers. The left hand panel shows a full searchable list and clicking on any entry in the list will load the details for the Client in the right hand panel. Segmented Control Tabs above the search bar allow you to only show companies where you (the logged in user) are set as the Client Manager in Streamtime. The details panel on the right will load contact information including an address that can be mapped with Google Maps, a full list of all contact people attached to that company, any Correspondence assigned to that company, any Work In Progress for that company and an editable Notes field.

People

Search the entire Streamtime contact database or use the segmented control to only display People that have your name assigned as their client manager. For each person there are full contact details including an editable notes field. All Correspondence and Work in Progress for your contact is displayed and can be clicked on directly from this screen.

Actions

Actions By Company returns a list sorted by date of all your to do items in Streamtime. The status of each item can easily be changed using the dropdown and all changes made here are instantly reflected in your studio based copy of Streamtime.

Correspondence

The Correspondence section gives you a fully searchable list of all active communications in Streamtime. These might be emails, meeting minutes, client briefs, or sales opportunities. Each correspondence item has its own status and this can be updated directly from the ipad. You can add notes to correspondence items just by clicking into the details, then clicking “add note”.

Quotes

All Active Quotes and Estimates in Streamtime are also here on the iPad application. Each quote has its own status and this can be updated from the main list view. Drilling into any quote will give you the full breakdown of how that quote was constructed.

Work In Progress

Imagine taking your iPad into a production meeting and having all your Work In Progress literally at your fingertips. Jobs sorted by client with live progress updates and percentage complete bar charts. The Segmented navigation allows a Client Manager to break out their jobs from everybody else's. If we go into the details for one of the jobs we get to see which tasks have been allocated to the job and a breakdown of how much time has been estimated and used so far on the job. Scrolling down we can see actual time and materials spent on the job as they are being recorded. The client brief can also be edited directly from the iPad and that update occurs in real time.
